Cynthia is a robotics keynote speaker, executive, advisor, and angel investor.

Cynthia serves as Director, Product Commercialization at Robust.AI. Their prior roles include Head of Product for warehouse robotics firm Plus One Robotics, COO at robotic coffee bar startup Cafe X, leading next-gen product at SoftBank Robotics, and spearheading partnerships for a ship-based social enterprise startup accelerator as well as for Google[X], a lab that aims for technological moonshots. They advise and consult for robotics startups, and are a founding board member of Women in Robotics. Committed to STEM education, they sit on the IEEE Robots Steering Committee and the advisory board for the Colorado School of Mines Robotics Program. They also served as project manager for the publication of Stuart Russell and Peter Norvig’s Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach (4th Edition), widely acknowledged as "the most popular artificial intelligence textbook in the world."

Cynthia graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Management and Technology program with degrees from both the Wharton School and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. They were a Benjamin Franklin Scholar and a Joseph Wharton Scholar.

Cynthia currently resides in Austin, Texas with their wife, Vivian.
