Cynthia Yeung is a robotics and AI veteran focused on product strategy and operational excellence. At Agility Robotics, maker of the award-winning humanoid robot Digit, they lead Fleet Intelligence, ensuring world-class reliability and user experience at scale.
They previously held product and commercialization C-suite and leadership roles at Robust.AI, Plus One Robotics, Cafe X, SoftBank Robotics, and Google[X], bringing advanced robotic systems from prototype to deployment. They advise robotics startups and serve as a founding board member of Women in Robotics. Committed to advancing STEM education, they sit on the IEEE Robots Steering Committee and the Advisory Board for the Colorado School of Mines Robotics Program. They also served as project manager for the publication of Stuart Russell and Peter Norvig’s Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach (4th Edition), the most popular artificial intelligence textbook in the world.
They graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Management and Technology program with degrees from both the Wharton School and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. They were a Benjamin Franklin Scholar and a Joseph Wharton Scholar.
Cynthia currently resides in Austin, Texas with their wife, Vivian.
